Nature’s most versatile plant

People have grown hemp for more than 10,000 years. It grows fast, needs little water and rarely needs pesticides. That is why we built our whole company around it.

The plant

Small plant, big difference

Hemp is one of the hardiest plants there is. It takes little from the soil and gives a lot back.

Binds CO₂

Every tonne of hemp harvested binds 1.6 tonnes of CO₂ from the air.1

Needs little water

A kilo of hemp needs only about a quarter of the water a kilo of cotton does.1

Rarely needs pesticides

Few pests attack hemp, so it is usually grown with little or no chemical pesticides.1

Protects soil and bees

The leaves cover the ground in just three weeks and protect it from erosion. The flowers feed bees in late summer.1

We only have one planet. So we choose with care.

Every decision we make, from raw material to packaging, we make with the next generation in mind. They are small steps, but they count.

Packaging

Glass, paper and a little plastic. Nothing else.

We use only three materials, and all of them can be sorted at home. Tap a material to see how. Local sorting rules may vary by country.

Glass bottles and jars

Can be melted into new bottles again and again

Glass protects the product from light and air, and the material does not lose quality when recycled. Rinse the bottle and take it to glass recycling.

Carton and paper parcel

Product box and shipping packaging

The box around the product and the parcel you receive are made of paper. Flatten the box so it takes up less space.

Sort as Paper and cardboard

Plastic cap and dropper

Only where it is needed to protect the product

We use plastic only for the small parts that keep the product sealed and easy to dose. Unscrew the cap and sort it separately.

Can I recycle the bottle?

Yes. Rinse the glass bottle and put it in glass recycling. The cap and dropper go with plastic packaging.

Why do you use glass instead of plastic?

Glass protects the contents from light and air and does not affect the taste. It can also be recycled again and again.

Are pesticides used when the hemp is grown?

Hemp has few natural pests, so it is usually grown with little or no chemical pesticides. All our products are also third-party lab tested.

How do I sort the parcel I receive?

The shipping packaging is made of paper and goes with paper and cardboard. Flatten it first if you can.
